Paul KillerbyGeyser Community Foundation feasibility study 2007, undertaken by APR Consultants. Abstract Feasibility study to support development of the Geyser Community Foundation in Rotorua. The purpose of the Community Foundation is to promote and support charitable giving towards local community organisations and charitable purposes. Key findings of the feasibility study were that, based on a conservative assumption of 10% latent giving, there could be at least $700,000 of additional annual personal giving in the Rotorua District through effective promotion of the Geyser Community Foundation (of which approximately 20% to 30% would be in the form of bequests). In addition, there could be $130,000 per annum or more of additional corporate philanthropy in the District.
