Paul KillerbyNorthland Strategy Steering Group (2001) Northland Forward Together - Kokiri Ngatahi Taitokerau - Strategy for the Sustainable Economic Development of Northland, commissioned by Northland Regional Council Community Trust, undertaken by APR Consultants. Abstract During the first half of 2001 a wide-ranging consultation process was undertaken to develop a draft economic strategy for the Northland Region. Northland Forward Together - Kokiri Ngatahi Taitokerau was spearheaded by the Northland Regional Council Community Trust and progressed under the auspices of the Northland Mayoral Forum. A Steering Group comprising nominations from local government, central government, Maori and industry, in partnership with a Maori Task Group, drove the consultation process and strategy development.
